Principal
Our team is led by Daniel Salim, who has over 15 years’ experience in both front-end and back-end construction law.
During his time as a solicitor, he has been involved in cases that have helped shape construction law in Australia, including several cases which are now leading authorities in construction law receiving much academic commentary.
Prior to establishing Salim Rutherford Lawyers, Daniel was a senior associate at Norton Rose Fulbright (formerly Deacons), where he was involved in all forms of construction disputes on behalf of principals, contractors, consultants and government authorities. This has involved litigation in the High Court of Australia, the Supreme and District Courts of NSW, the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Consumer, Trade and Tenancy Tribunal.
During his expansive career, Daniel has established strong professional relationships with fellow practitioners and is well regarded by members of the professional community.
